Since Spotlight Recruitment began in 2008, we have worked extensively across the travel sector. For such clients, we have recruited for roles spanning across marketing, digital, design, events, and communications. One of our clients is a high-profile travel group and we have an extensive history of recruitment for this client. Our team are proud to have had a 100% success rate of hiring for all of their marketing and communications roles. Most recently, they tasked us with recruiting an Insight Executive to join their growing team.
The Challenge
Our client informed us that they were looking to hire an analytical Insight Executive to support the Strategic Insight Lead with research activities such as project management, data checking, analysis, and reporting. It was key that the ideal candidate would have practical research experience, with a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative research. In addition to this, they were looking for someone with excellent analytical skills and experience of data mining tools. Though this role was slightly different compared to the typical roles we work on, our team were confident that our large network of 100k+ followers on LinkedIn would help us reach well-matched candidates.
We allocated a devoted Account Manager, with recruitment expertise in the travel sector, who then devised a tailored campaign and conducted in-depth research. After conducting a search, the Account Manager then completed our own interviewing and shortlisting stage to ensure that candidates presented were a great fit within the team. Then, our first selection of highly relevant candidates was presented to our client to review.
The Solution
Much to our delight, the client gave the seal of approval to all candidates initially presented and invited them to a first-stage video interview. One candidate truly excelled, so was put forward for a second stage interview to meet the Strategic Insight Lead and Commercial director in the office to present a data task. As a result, the client decided that this candidate was a great fit for the team, so was ultimately offered the role of Insight Executive, to which they gratefully accepted! We were delighted to fulfil recruitment for this position within a few short weeks. Due to this long-standing and successful relationship, Spotlight Recruitment has been added to this client’s Preferred Supplier List (PSL), and we are looking forward to developing our ongoing relationship.
