Spotlight Recruitment was approached to work with a leading healthcare and health-tech organisation that was going through rapid expansion. Due to fast and continued growth, this global start-up, with a true focus on innovation and integrity, was looking to recruit on a large scale and needed a marketing recruitment specialist with a long-standing reputation of success in the market.
The challenge
Spotlight was tasked with the mission of expanding the Marketing team, with key roles including Product Marketing Manager, Design Specialist and Marketing Lead initially. Having been presented with multiple roles, we started the process with research to gain key insights that influence our bespoke campaign strategy. Our team of Consultants are all ex-marketers, and we are able to understand the bespoke needs of different clients and the niche skill requirements for marketing roles.
Once the research was complete and relevant candidates identified, we completed interviews and screenings to assess key experience and expertise from previous roles. We then identified and shortlisted the strongest candidates, and our client was able to give the seal of approval to invite those candidates to interview. Spotlight Recruitment always works on the basis of continual improvement, making key evaluations along the way to generate results.
The solution
A strong shortlist of candidates was generated for all roles, which allowed the client to select those who they felt met the exact criteria for the roles. All candidates went through multiple interviews and assessments as well as psychometric tests, with candidates at the final stage being invited to present a task to the panel with was made up of key stakeholders.
For the Marketing Lead role, it was down to two finalists put forward by our team, with both being considered as it was a difficult decision for the client. We were involved in salary negotiations and settling on an offer which all parties were happy with. As a result of our communication and mediation, we were able to place all of the roles we were given. Our client asked us to join their PSL due to our success, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
